Instructions for registering in Member Wizard

To be able to first create a password in the new system (Member Wizard), existing U3A Murrindindi East members need to go through a simple process called

“Registration”. Once this is done for the first time, Registration is only required thereafter when changing a password.

The steps to complete initial registration are as follows;

  • Select Member Portal
  • Select Register and enter either your member number or email address (if you share your email address with another member you will need to use your member number to register)
  • Select Next and on the following page Send.
  • Enter the code (no space) that you receive in your email and Confirm Registration Number.
  • Enter a password of your choice - make it complex for security but something you can remember
  • In the Member Portal check My Classes and Change my Contact Details to ensure that your information is correct.
  • Tutors can select Tutor Portal

Notes

  1. You only enter your password once, so it won’t check that it is correct, as per systems where you enter the password twice. If you make a mistake, go back to step 2 and register again.
  2. You can use your current U-MAS password again if you want to save thinking of and remembering a new password.
  3. If you want more detailed registering instructions and information on using the members portal, click here

What is University of the Third Age? (U3A)

U3As are voluntary Seniors’ Groups that provide educational, recreational, creative and social programs. Each U3A is organised by and for people who can best be described as being active in retirement or semi-retirement, the third age of their lives.

U3A Murrindindi East was established for people in their third age who are over the age of 50 and are not working full time. Our Mission is to provide opportunities for seniors to teach, learn, share and socialise in a friendly and relaxed environment, regardless or ethnicity, religion, ability or disability.

Our courses cover a wide range of areas, from academic to physical, recreational and artistic activities. Our members enjoy both the intellectual and social engagement provided by our courses.

No special qualifications are required to join U3A Murrindindi East. Our courses are non-competitive, without assignments or exams, and are either no cost or low cost.  We encourage members to both expand their knowledge in existing areas and to explore new fields and activities.

U3A Murrindindi East is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers. We welcome participation from members in roles including tutors, administrators and committee members.

U3A Murrindindi East Inc is managed under the Model Rules of Association. Refer to this link to access the generic Model Rules. Our official copy of these rules is held by our Secretary.
